Why Microsoft Sign-In
Mythrend uses Microsoft account sign-in to log you into the website. There's no separate Mythrend password to create or remember, your account is tied directly to the same Microsoft account linked to your Minecraft (Java Edition) license.
This process uses Microsoft's own OAuth integration. We never access or see your Microsoft login credentials, instead, Microsoft provides us with secure tokens that let us verify your account status and confirm your associated Minecraft license. Since your Mythrend login is your Minecraft account, your username, UUID, and rank can sync between the website and the server when you join. See How Rank Sync Works for more on this.
Signing In
Step 1:
Visit mythrend.net/login and click Sign in with Microsoft.
Step 2:
You'll be redirected to Microsoft's secure login page. Sign in with the Microsoft account associated with your Minecraft license.
Step 3:
Review the permissions we request and click Accept.
Step 4:
You'll be redirected back to Mythrend and automatically logged in using your Minecraft username and UUID.

Account Security
Because Mythrend doesn't store a separate password, the security of your Mythrend account depends entirely on the security of your Microsoft account. Keeping that account secure, using a strong password and enabling Microsoft's own two-factor authentication, is the best way to protect your Mythrend profile. Manage your settings at account.microsoft.com/security.
Mythrend also offers its own optional Two-Factor Authentication for an extra layer of protection on the website itself, separate from your Microsoft login.
