What Are Player Titles?

Player Titles are small badges of honor displayed above your name in the Lobby, a way to show off major achievements, milestones, and event participation. Unlike most cosmetics, titles can't be purchased, you earn them by playing.

Once unlocked, you can equip a title from the Player Titles category in your Cosmetics menu.

Rarity Tiers

Milestone titles are grouped into rarity tiers, each represented by a color. From most common to most prestigious:

The higher the tier, the harder the milestone is to reach, and the more impressive the title looks above your name.

Global Network Milestones

As you increase your Network Level, you'll unlock rewards every 5 levels, mostly Mythical Essence, with select levels also unlocking new Name Colors as a permanent reward. For example, reaching Network Level 15 unlocks Dark Gray, Level 35 unlocks Dark Green, and Level 100 unlocks Gold. See Understanding Leveling & XP Progression for the full rundown.

Gamemode Milestones

Each gamemode has its own set of milestone titles tied to specific stats, like targets found, games won, or levels reached. These follow the same rarity tiers above. A few examples from Block Shuffle:

[Pathfinder] for 100 targets found, all the way up to [Chronoseeker] for 10,000 targets found.
[Shuffle Starter] for 10 wins, up to [Ascendant Shuffler] for 1,000 wins.

There's also a special title for the dedicated, [Master of Matter], awarded for finding every possible target block type in a single match.

And from Survival:

[Hunters Path] for 10,000 monster kills, up to [Mythic Exterminator] for 500,000 monster kills.
[Dragonslayer Initiate] for 5 Ender Dragon kills, up to [Mythrend's Harbinger] for 150 dragon kills.
[Merchant Novice] for early villager trades, up to [Mythic Economist] for master-level trading.

These milestones are tracked automatically as you play, you don't need to manually start or claim anything. Once you hit the target, the title unlocks for you to equip whenever you'd like.

Exclusive Titles

Some titles are only available for a limited time, often tied to community events, and once that window closes, they're gone for good.
