Enable Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)
Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds an extra layer of security by requiring a secondary verification code when logging in.
To enable 2FA, visit the Security Settings page and follow the instructions to Enable Two Factor Authentication.
Use a trusted authenticator app like Google Authenticator or Authy to generate verification codes.
Never Share Your Account
Sharing your account credentials with others puts your account at significant risk.
Do not share your login information, even with friends or family.
Account sharing can lead to unauthorized changes, rank loss, or account bans.
Use a Strong, Unique Passwords
A strong password is your first line of defense. Avoid using easily guessed passwords (e.g., “password123” or your username). Create a unique password that includes a mix of uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and special characters. Consider using a password manager to keep your credentials safe.
Protect Your Personal Information
Never disclose sensitive information online. Avoid sharing your email address, account details, or personal information with strangers. Be cautious of phishing attempts or suspicious links that request login credentials.
Watch Out for Phishing Scams
Phishing attempts can trick you into revealing sensitive information. Always double-check the URL before entering your login details. Mythrend Network Staff will never ask for your password or personal information via email, Discord, or private messages.
Keep Your Email Secure
Your email is often the gateway to your account. Enable 2FA on your email account. Use a strong, unique password for your email to prevent unauthorized access.
Following these steps will greatly reduce the risk of your account being compromised. If you suspect any suspicious activity on your account, update your security settings immediately and contact Support for assistance.
